Yes. Every one of our sculptures is hand cast in solid bronze in British bronze foundry. We do not make or sell resin pieces (sometimes described as ‘cold cast bronze’) which are moulded plastic finished to look like metal. Our sculptures are genuine bronze, created using the ancient and skilled lost wax casting process.

All our sculptures are handmade, genuine foundry bronze. Cheaper ‘bronze’ sculptures online are usually resin (a type of plastic) mixed with bronze powder, or painted to take on the appearance of genuine bronze.  You will see them described as ‘cold cast bronze’, or ‘bronze resin’. True bronze sculptures are cast in solid bronze metal, a far more valuable material, using the ancient lost was casting process, which is far more labour intensive and time consuming than that used to create a resin sculpture.  A genuine handmade bronze sculpture is far more durable and holds greater value than a resin imitation.

True bronze is made of solid metal – it feels heavy in the hand, cold to the touch. Resin imitations (in reality made of plastic) are much lighter, warmer, and often described as ‘cold cast bronze’ or ‘bronze resin’. If a piece feels unusually light or is sold at a very low price, it is almost certainly resin rather than true bronze. We’ve noticed that some websites using vague descriptions and photographs, so if in doubt, ask the seller what material the piece is made from.

Yes, both your sculpture and its certificate will state the size of the edition and the specific number of your piece. Once all castings in a numbered edition are complete, the mould is destroyed, ensuring no further castings can ever be made

People often write to us to tell us how thrilled they are with their new sculpture when they receive it. However, we do have a 45 day no quibble refund policy, so if you would like to return your sculpture for any reason at all, you are most welcome to.

Your happiness is of paramount importance to us. If your sculpture isn’t quite right for you for any reason at all, return it within 45 days of delivery for a swift full refund – no quibbles, no questions asked. Please note that we do ask you to cover the cost of returning your order to us.

We do not offer discounts on our sculptures. As they are cast as strictly limited editions, if we sell one at a discount, we are unable to cast an additional one to make up for the shortfall across the edition, which rather short changes the artist!  We always strive to keep our prices as fair as possible, so we do not have sales periods (even on Black Friday, Boxing Day or January). You can be assured that you will always enjoy the best price for your sculpture, all year round.

Absolutely! Many pieces in our collections started with an enquiry from a collector – an idea we loved so much that it became part of our limited edition collection.
It generally takes approximately 9 to 12 months from the time that the sculptor starts working on the piece until you receive the first bronze casting. Price depends on the size and complexity of the piece. If there is a piece you would like us to add to our collection, or if you wish to discuss a one off creation made just for you, we would be delighted to hear from you.
